Die Casting

RELIANT INDUSTRIAL offers various precision DIE CASTING services.

The DIE CASTING division was a logical expansion in order to answer more complexed projects that combines both metal and plastic parts.

We have at our disposal a complete full die-casting plant which includes 3 own in-house foundries and a molding workshop. We melt our metal in our high temperature furnaces. We ensure full control of metal quality and raw materials traceability. Molding development are adjusted in our workshop which allows us to optimize the tooling instantly and speed up production process and samples lead time.

Consistent quality, control of lead time and cost efficiency were the reasons to develop our own in-house metal die casting production.

Our Die Casting factory spreads on a working surface of 5000m2 and employs 20 permanent metallurgy technicians. We deal mainly with aluminum alloy, Zinc alloys and Zamak. Our production capacity output reach up 15000 metal parts per month. We are equipped with 3 automated foundries that ensure maximum safety and consistent quality. We pay very high attention to the finishing of our metal parts and thus our Metal Die Casting division is composed of diverse tools and machines to clean, polish and treat the surface.

Our main clients are currently based in North America and Europe, so we are familiar with worlwide quality standards and requirements. Our team has more than a decade yearlong of experience and can provide you with accurate expertise.

MOLDING
;
MOLDING

MOLDING

Preparation of the die casting mold by lubricating properly the two halves of the die and then close and clamped securely the mold.
INJECTION
;
INJECTION

INJECTION

Ingots are added to the furnace and kept molten at a set temperature according to the metal properties. The molten metal is injected into the mold at high pressures. The injection has to fill completely the mold before it starts solidifying.
COOLING
;
COOLING

COOLING

After the Injection, the casting part cools down and solidifies in the mold.
The cooling time depends on 3 main factors: the thermic properties, the geometry and the thickness of the die casting.

EJECTION
;
EJECTION

EJECTION

After the cooling step, the two dies opens. An automatic mechanism ejects the solidified casting out of the die. The dies close and are ready for the next metal injection cycle

TRIMMING

Methods of trimming include trim tools, band saw or manually clipping.
We systematically recycle the trimmed metal by melting it back in the furnace.
