METAL EXTRUSION

With the collaboration of several partners, Reliant Industrial METAL EXTRUSION division was created in 2009. With growing demands of metal works we invested on a full extrusion setup.

The division currently employs 30 permanent experimented technicians dedicated to production.

Steel and Aluminum alloy are our main materials. Aluminum offers the best value for money. It is light in weight and less expensive than most of existing metal alloys. It has great mechanical properties and is resistant to corrosion.

Aluminum can be used in a wide range of applications, from heat sink to guardrail tubes or metal structures, it is present almost anywhere around us.

Metal extrusion production is a simple process; however, machines requires important investment and space. Reliant Industrial operates currently with 6 metal extrusion production lines with regular maintenance and strict safety standards.
Our Extrusion capacity can reach daily up to 5000 meters of metal profiles.

Designing

Further your technical specification, our technical team will assist and provide you all the necessary information to ensure the feasibility of the profile. After final design approval, we will create the mold and develop the pre-production sample for a final check.
Extruding

Extruding

Productions starts with the aluminum billet being heated and pressurized through the mold and forming the desired profile shape. Aluminum billet is a long cylindric bar of aluminum. The heating temperature can reach up to 500deg Celsius.
Quenching

Quenching

Quenching (or cooling) the extruded profile is an essential step of the process. We speed up the cooling with air and water systems, the quenching time will determine the profile high technical performances and properties.
Stretching

Stretching

The profile is conveyed to the stretcher area. The stretching operation is automated: 2 stretchers robots hold both extremities of the profile and stretch mechanically the profile. This step adjusts any existing flaws or twists of the profile.
Cutting and resting

Cutting and resting

Profile are cut by automatic saw to the desired length and then conveyed to a heated resting area. That resting area is set at ~170degre Celsius and allows the aluminum profile to gain mechanical properties.

Surface Finishing

The profile can be use “raw” or it can be treated for technical properties or aesthetics purposes. We offer different types of surface finishing, from coating to painting.

If need, the metal profile goes through machining process and/or assembly workshop for further manufacturing.

The metal piece is moved to our warehouse. From here we carefully protect, pack, store and ship the product.
